The Countdown Continues...

overcast 15 °C

So it's only 59 days!! I leave NEXT MONTH. Wow, this has caught up on me pretty quickly.

Everything is organised, paid for and ready to go! Only have a few things left to do which have to be done last minute. My australian bank account has to be activated last minute and I need to sort out my phone. Oh I feel like I need to go and write a new to do list.

I'm really excited but it still hasn't set in. I dont think that it will untill I start to properly pack and im counting down '3, 2, 1' weeks left. There have been a few moments when it's hit me. They just occassionally creep up on me when I think about how I will miss my family and my friends - but hey that's why we have Skype!

Everyone keeps asking me how long I will be going for, and to be honest I really dont know! It may be a few months or it may be a year. I really am just going to play it by ear and see where it takes me. Im excited to throw away life plans and just see what happens. Scary yet exciting!

Right, I am off to go and day dream away the next 59 days. :)

Love and hugs,

Bookings and Excitement.

semi-overcast 6 °C

So here goes, the start of my travelling blog. The funny thing is that I'm not travelling for another 6 months (127 days to be exact).
My tickets are booked to head off to Sydney on November 29th and I can not wait! Annoyed though, booked my hostel for the first two weeks and the hostel themselves can't seem to find my reservation. Good thing I'm getting to the bottom of this now! Hopefully, this will all be sorted in the next few days.

So I'm travelling to Sydney, thinking of setting up life there for a year. Time to have a fresh new start where I can discover who I am now. I know it sounds cliche but so much has happened in the past few years that I think this will be a great oppertunity for me. One thing I know is that I definitely want to scuba dive in the great barrier reef! Im a qualified scuba diver and my aunty used to be an instructor, I think that she'd kill me if I didn't!

Im so over organised its hilarious. I have a folder with about 8 pockets full of papers. Everything is organised into catergories so that I am fully planned for my big trip. I have about 7 different to do lists, with serperate to buy lists and different things I need to pack. I got my back pack the other day, never thought I'd ever wear one of those! But it's just making me even more excited.

Anyway, off to bed now to think of all the things I've forgotten to put on a list and to countdown the 127 days.

Love and hugs,
Elle xo
